Guidecraft recalls theater toys due to entrapment hazard
About 2,150 Guidecraft 4-in-1 Dramatic Play Theater Toys were recalled after two reports of the toy tipping over while in use. One child experienced minor injuries from this recalled product. The 4-in-1 Dramatic Play Theater Toys were manufactured in China. See the recall.
Hydro-Gear Limited Partnership recalls tractors due to crashing hazard
About 2,700 Hydro-Gear Lawn Tractors were recalled after discovery that a drive gear in the hydrostatic transaxle can fail, leading to brake failure. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled lawn tractors were made in the United States. See the recall.
Bon Hiver issues recall for snowboard bindings due to falling hazard
About 200 Bon Hiver snowboard bindings were recalled after two reports of the base plates fracturing while being used. The recalled bindings were made in China. See the recall.
Westinghouse Lighting recalls ceiling fans due to shock and fire hazards
About 7,000 Westinghouse Lighting ceiling fans were recalled after discovery that two 60-watt lightbulbs can exceed the maximum wattage of the fan, causing overheating or failure. Dorel Juvenile Group issues recall for cabinet locks due to product failure
About 900,000 Safety 1st Push ‘N Snap Cabinet Locks were recalled after receiving 200 reports of damaged locks or locks that did not properly secure the cabinet. 140 reports of children accessing the cabinets were also reported, including three children who proceeded to handle or imbibe potentially dangerous cleaning chemicals. Leggett & Platt recalls mattress bases due to fire hazard
About 25,200 power foundations for adjustable bases for mattresses were recalled by Leggett & Platt after receiving 29 reports of the electrical components in the motor control board failing and overheating, posing a fire hazard. Easton Sports issues recall for Lacrosse Helmets due to injury hazard
About 12,000 Easton Raptor Lacrosse Helmets were recalled after receiving six reports of the chin bar breaking on impact with a ball or stick. One facial injury was reported. The recalled Easton lacrosse helmets were made in China. See the recall.
