Thomas Lighting recalls fixtures due to fire and shock hazards
About 83,750 Thomas Lighting Ceiling Flush Mount Light Fixtures were recalled after the company received 11 reports of the light fixtures’ insulation degraded, exposing wires. The recalled light fixtures were manufactured in China. See the recall.
Bel Air Lighting issues recall for lanterns due to fire, burn, and shock hazards
About 99,700 Outdoor Wall Mount Lanterns were recalled by Bel Air Lighting after receiving seven reports of an electrical short circuit occurring in the lanterns’ internal wiring. Two of these incidents included the lanterns catching fire. The recalled lanterns were made in China. See the recall.
EDIC recalls blowers due to fire hazard
About 53,000 Air Movers/Blowers were recalled after EDIC received four reports of the internal electrical capacitor failing, causing fires that involved some property damage. The recalled product was made in the United States. See the recall.
Big Lots recalls space heaters due to fire and shock hazard
About 70,500 Portable Space Heater and Portable Oscillating Space Heaters were recalled after four reports of the heaters overheating and melting were reported to Big Lots. The faulty space heaters were manufactured in China. See the recall.
Flushmate issues recall for flushing system due to impact and laceration hazards
About 2,340,000 Flushmate III Pressure-Assist Flushing Systems were recalled after Flushmate received 304 reports of the flushing system bursting and releasing pressure. 14 reports of the tank lid ejecting or the tank shattering have resulted in injuries. Currie Technologies recalls tricycles due to falling hazard
About 2,100 Tricruiser Electric-Powered Adult Tricycles have been recalled after six reports of the rear axle breaking and rear wheel detaching while in use. Five falling injuries resulting in minor injuries have been reported. The recalled electric tricycle was made in China. See the recall.
PajamaGram issues recall for pajamas due to flammability standard violation
About 12,000 children’s pajamas were recalled by PajamaGram after discovery that they did not meet federal guidelines for flammability. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled pajamas were made in China. See the recall.
Ishtex Textile Products recalls pajamas due to flammability standard violation
About 6,000 Gabiano Collection Boys and Girls Pajamas, Sets, and Gowns have been recalled after discovery that the products did not meet federal flammability guidelines. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled pajamas were manufactured in China. See the recall.
Rigo International recalls lounge pants and boxers due to flammability standard violation
About 210,000 Boys and girls Pull-On Lounge Pants and Girls Boxers were recalled after discovery that they failed to meet federal flammability standards. Rigo received one report of the product catching fire and causing severe burns to the legs of a 9-year old boy. The recalled products were made in China. See the recall.
Big Cat Human Powered Vehicles issues recall for bicycle due to crashing hazard
About 170 Catbike Musashi recumbent bicycles were recalled after discovery that the bicycle frame can crack while in use, posing a crash risk. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled bicycle was manufactured in the United States. See the recall.
Samuel Lawrence Furniture issues recall for sleigh beds due to falling hazard
About 19,650 King and Queen Bordeaux Collection Bed Frames were recalled after the company received a report of the footboard detaching and injuring a man’s foot. The recalled bed frames were made in Malaysia. See the recall.
IKEA recalls lighting system due to shock hazard
About 97,000 IKEA 365 and SÄNDA track, 28″ and 45″ track lighting systems were recalled after discovery that the ground connection is defective. No incidents or injuries have been reported. The recalled track lighting systems were made in China. See the recall.
Watkins Manufacturing and Therm Products recalls spas due to fire hazard
About 5,600 Hot Spring Spas and Limelight Hot Tubs were recalled after the spa manufacturer received 31 reports of the heater overheating from a loose internal electrical connection. Homewerks Worldwide recalls exhaust fans due to fire hazard
About 68,000 Harbor Breeze Bath Fans with Heater and Light made by Delta Electronics Dongguan were recalled after Homewerks Worldwide received 11 reports of the fan overheating and either smoking or catching fire.
