It has been recently reported that the number of deaths tied to episodes of sudden, unintended acceleration in Toyota vehicles is significantly higher than previously thought. The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) released data stating that the agency had received over 6,200 reports of sudden acceleration, including 89 reported deaths. Previously, it was estimated that 52 people had been killed due to Toyota sudden acceleration problems.

Toyota has been struggling in the wake of the sudden acceleration recall, which now affects over 8 million vehicles. The Law Offices of Larry H. Parker’s nationally recognized team of product liability attorneys is actively involved in the pending litigation against Toyota.
