While it’s still impossible to tell exactly how dangerous distracted driving can be, some new anecdotal reports paint an interesting picture.

During a recent worldwide outage that lasted nearly 3 days, the city of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates experienced a 20% drop in traffic accidents and Abu Dahbi experienced a 40% drop in traffic accidents – and experienced 0 traffic fatalities. UAE officials do not consider this a coincidence.
